Campus Courtyard Redesign

This project is located at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. There is a courtyard between the Architecture Building and David Kinley Hall. The current conditions of the courtyard does not have adequate lighting and seating, is prone to puddles, unwelcoming, and there are obstacles that disrupt the flow of circulation, and most importantly, the entrance to the Architecture Building is not fully accessible. The design plan solves all of these problems and makes the space much more usable and pleasant.
